sleepy girl in recovery

They did her cath and all went remarkably smooth. The doctor met with us and informed us that all they had to do was go through her vein.  This is great news because it cuts down her chance of major clotting.  We have not heard about the mri yet. I don't want to know those results because to me it doesn't matter.  In the cath,  they saw one area of narrowing in her aortic arch but it does not effect flow so they will just watch it.  There is also an expected area of narrowing where they stitched the shunt into her pulmonary artery.  The shunt itself looks great and they won't need to do another on until after her stage 2 and before stage 3. We are now sitting and waiting for them to bring her back to ccu.

  1. She is beautiful. I read everything you and your husband write to my three month old son. He smiles every time he sees Olivia's picture. We are still praying for all of you.
