Took awhile with the MRI study

We got to hang out in sprays conference room for a good hour. A CICU nurse accompanies you. Needless to say we really got to know our CICU nurse, and we think we got a good one. Most chop CICU nurses are pretty darn good at what they do. Finally spray came in and confirmed she was getting a extraxardiac fontan with a fenestration. Think of the fenestration like a popoff valve if there is too much pressure. My concerns about the extraxardiac have been put to rest because he uses a good sized adult tube to connect everything. He said she'd never need an upgrade!

Now we are just waiting to hear something. We got to visit with our friends the dansby's who's daughter had her fontan last week. She is looking great and moving to discharge just like olivia will soon. Updates as soon as we hear something from the nurse.
